Here’s what’s new shows on Netflix in 2025:
Jerry Springers: Fights, Camera, Action.

The 90s were the golden age of trash TV, and daytime staple The Jerry Springer Show sat at the top of the heap. Hosted by the former mayor of Cincinnati. It explored the important topics of the day, such as ‘Who is the baby daddy?’. And ‘Should a man be allowed to marry a horse?’, and often culminated in stage-clearing brawls in front of a raucous studio audience. Could there have been a darker side, though?. This two-part docuseries investigates.
American Primeval

Peter Berg goes Yellowstone-core with this miniseries about ‘the birth of the American West’. Apparently, he’s also still trying to make Taylor Kitsch happen, casting the former Friday Night. Lights star as a tortured frontiersman among group of emigrants looking to settle in the untamed wilderness of Utah circa the mid-19th century. The Show is to center around the 1875 Meadown Mountain Massacre. In which Mormon settlers slaughtered an entire wagon train passing through the territory. Sounds Harrowing.
Back in Action

In the tradition of Spy Kids and The Incredibles. A family’s domestic idyll is upturned when it’s revealed that the parents are living a double life. In this case, as ex-CIA operatives. Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz anchor this action-comedy, which appropriately represents a return to action for both stars. It’s Foxx’s first major project since his 2023 health scare and Diaz’s first since going on a self-imposed acting hiatus 10 years ago.
The Night Agent season 2

You know how, like, CBS and the USA Network have shows you’ve never heard of yet are more popular than anything you actually watch?. Netflix gas them, too. Behold The Night Agent, an action thriller whose first season was, for a time, the most-viewed original program on the streamer. Revolving around a top-secret shadow program of the FBI. It stars onetime JD Vance portrayer Gabriel Basso as an agent tasked with sniffing out a mole who’s infiltrated the top levels of the US government. A third season has already been ordered, naturally.
