Ever wondered what’s there in Mumbai that draws so much attention to it? Afterall, what are the things to even do in Mumbai, amongst all the crowd and humidity? Well, let me show you! Here is a range of things to do in the various parts of Mumbai. Make sure you have a map in your hand!

All The Things to do in Mumbai

If you are not from Mumbai, the surging crowd of the place might not be that enticing for you. But what Mumbai experience have you had if you have not seen the crowd? Malad is the perfect location to hit, if crowd in what you looking for. Festival seasons like Navaratri brings people double or triple its size just to visit the NESCO Exhibition Centre. But don’t worry, that place conducts other exhibitions too.

Exhibition reminds me that if you are searching for a beautiful art area to visit, then Kala Ghoda Street Art is the place to be. There is an annual Art Festival that is conducted in the first week of February. One gets to see the fascinating art culture and get completely engulfed by it. And as we are talking about art, so let’s also talk about the artefacts. Are you a history maniac? Does artefacts and relics of the the previous civilizations draw you in? Turn towards CSMVS Museum and dive into the history.

And again what is Mumbai without a beach experience, right? Girgaon Chowpatty will not disappoint you. The warm sand with the shore at the side will be loving experience for you. Attached to it is the Queen’s Necklace, adjoining the Marine Drive. Sunsets are peak time here. But if you do can grab a seat on the stone railing, the experience would be something you would come back running to. The water along side the light sunsets is something one mustn’t skip in their life.

Cafe Universal with its excellent ambiance and food will bring joy to your face and your tummy too. Its a saying that their pizza is a must try. But if street food is what ropes you in then the Khaugally of Ghatkopar won’t disappoint you. The Kings Circle is another food spot bustling with college students. Sarvi restaurant in Nagpada is the ultimate seekh kebab area.

Crowd’s taking too much of a toll on you? Pause. Take the train to the Eastern Suburb of Andheri and find the beautiful Buddhist Monastery there. Mahakali Caves with its silence, caves and greenery will provide you with the ultimate peace you are searching for. It is a well maintained monastery that will leave your mouth open with awe.

Another famous spot would be Maratha Mandir Theatre which screens DDLJ EVERY DAY for just thirty rupees. Right outside Sarvi Restaurant is a bangle shop in Nathani Heights’ second floor, where you can get bangles starting from prices of 50 rupees. Do not miss out on Camera Gully either where you would get the ultimate aesthetic looking digital cameras even in second hand with the prices starting from around 6000/-.

So yeah that’s it from my side. There are all the things you can do in Mumbai (not just it though, there’s much more you shouldn’t miss out on).

Toh Aao Kabhi Mumbai!
