Opener Abhishek Sharma (35 off 22) and Prabhsimran Singh (36 off 19) unleashed an aggressive assault on the pace attack, sending the Pakistan A bowlers ball flying across the field. Skipper Tilak Verma scored (44) and Nehal Wadhera scored (25) while Ramandeep score (17) after 1st inning India A scored 183/8 in 20 overs.
After start of 2nd inning Anshul Kamboj takes early wicket, in the chase Yasir khan (33) and Qasim Akram (27) began to attack fiercely. However a Spectacular catch by Ramandeep Singh at mid wicket broke their partnership, dismissing Yasir. In the same over, left arm spinner Nishant made further inroads by removing Akram.
Arafat Minhas top scorer for Pakistan with 29 balls 41 but it was Abdul Samad who blazed away to 25 off 15 balls. Samad walked in when Pakistan needed 58 more to win. He started counterattack on Vaibhav Arora in the 16th over to bring down equation of 42 runs on 24 balls. Samad continued to chip in with Pakistan needed 17 off the last over but the big-hitter was sent back to dressing room off the first ball by Anshul with this India completing a memorable win. Pakistan team score 176/7 in 20 overs.
